   Sonic was waking up, he open his eyes to see he was in a big room. The room was gray, he was sleeping like in a kings bed it was color dark red, and everything had a hint of gold. Sonic didn't knew where he was, nor where did he came from, Sonic was scared he didn't remember anything he looked around. Then A black hedgehog with red stripes entered the room, "I see your awake" said Shadow, Sonic looked at him, "Who...who are you?" Sonic asked, "I am Shadow the vamphog" said Shadow as he grab Sonic hand and gave it a gentle kiss. Sonic blush a little, "Where am I?" asked Sonic, "I found you knocked out at the beach and brought you here" said Shadow. Sonic started to look around the house he was confused and some what afraid, "Who are you and where did you come from?" asked Shadow, Sonic looked at Shadow, "I'm Sonic and I'm from.........I can't remember" said Sonic, "Well then Sonic, do you at least know something of where you came from?" asked Shadow, "Uh no, I can't remember anything!" said Sonic starting to freak out. Shadow tried to calm the hedgehog, "Calm down" said Shadow then he looked at his golden necklace, "How about this?" said Shadow about to touch it, Sonic quickly slap the hand away, "Uhh?" "Sorry it's just this necklace is very precious to me" said Sonic, "Why?" asked Shadow, "I don't know" said Sonic. Shadow realize that Sonic was confused, "You don't remember anything?" asked Shadow,  Sonic though for a minute and then he shook his head. Shadow didn't knew what to say, "Can't even remember who are your parents?" asked Shadow, "No" answered Sonic as he lowered his ears, "Then what do you remember?" asked Shadow, "Well all I remember is being in the beach and I was knocked out by something" said Sonic, "Maybe the knock on your head made you lose your memory" said Shadow. Sonic was worried never in his life he expected to be in place where he doesn't know anything, "Where am I?" asked Sonic, "Your at my house in the top mountain not too far from the beach next to the village" said Shadow, Sonic couldn't help but to look at him with a confused face, "Maybe you should go to the village to see of you remember anything" said Shadow as he grabbed a coat that cover every inch of his body including his face.Sonic looked at his confused, "Why is he wearing that?" asked himself, "Sonic your going to need something to cover all your.......jewelry" said Shadow as he handed some clothes and a scarf to Sonic. Sonic put the clothes on.

     On the beach an vamphog on the beach, "Damn Shadow a hundred times" said Mephiles with anger, "I don't bond to my past" said him mimicin Shadow's voice. On his way he found a golden sea shell, "What do I see here" said Mephiles as he picked the shell up, it was valuable he looked at every inch of it and found a it was named, "Sonic" it said in a rich blue. Mephiles seemed to notice the shell could open it was like a magic music box, it showed a Merhog inside in gold features as well, "Sonic uh?, he seems interesting, and testing this golden shell he seems to be very important" said Mephiles, "A perfect prey" said Mephiles with a evil grin.

  Under the sea, Jules father of Sonic had been searching for his son all over the castle, he found one of the maids that always seem to be around, "Excuse" said Jules, "Have you seen Sonic around?" asked Jules, the maid shook her head, "No my King, he said he went out for swim and haven't come back yet" said the maid. Jules was beginning to worry, "But how can he not come back after so much time?" asked Jules, "You don't think...." the maid's face was scared, "No I thought it, Sonic is a strong merhog" said Jules. Jules swam to the guards to search for Sonic, "Guards search all over the kingdom my son is missing" said Jules, the guards obeyed the king, and salted there search but no luck in finding the young Merhog and so they headed to there next suspicions.

   As the King headed his way, another creature was also searching for the young Merhog, "Darn that creature a thousand times!!" yelled the octobat. The Sharkhogs were also searching for this creature, "Are you idiots sure you saw that blue fish here?" asked Rouge in a unpleasant voice, "We swear, he went here" said sharkhogs, "Never mind then, let's head back I'll find him some other way" said Rouge as they all headed back to her place. Rouge was thinking for a minute "What if he already went back to the kingdom?" she asked herself, "My lady" said one of her sharkhogs, "What do you want?" asked Rouge, "The king Jules came to speak with you and he is not alone" said the sharkhog, "The King what for?" though Rouge, "Let him pass" said Rouge. The sharkhog obeyed Rouge's order and let king Jules in, "King Jules what a pleasant surprise" said Rouge, "I can here in search for my son, where is him?" asked Jules, Rouge was confused, "What do you mean?" asked Rouge, "My son is missing and something tells me you had something to do with it!" said Jules, Rouge frowned "Well you though wrong, I don't know where that fish is" said Rouge. Jules was mad but he knew the octobat wasn't lying, "I hope you are not lying, because if you are it will be your last" treating Jules, "You dare to treat me!" yelled Rouge, "Take thins as a warning, stay away from my son" said Jules as he left with his guards back to the castle. Rouge was mad, "How dare that Jules treat me like that.....Oh wait until I get my hands on his precious son, he will have no choice but to give me the throne, yes and I will be the queen me!" said Rouge as she grabbed some things, "But first I need to where that pesky Merhog is".

So Sonic and Shadow headed to the village, "Shadow why are you dress like that?" asked Sonic, "Let's just say, I'm very well know there" said Shadow, "I don't understand" said Sonic a little confused. Shadow just keep walking he wasn't sure to tell Sonic rather if he was a vamphog or not, "I'll tell you wen we get back okay?" said Shadow, "Okay then" said Sonic his suspicious ness was controllable for most of the time, and then they made it to the village, "Wow it's such a big place with so much people" said Sonic he was feeling weird at the moment, "What you never been in a village before?" asked Shadow, Sonic just keep looking around his heart was beating it seem like his very first time there. Sonic then was snap out of his illusion wen Shadow snapped 2 fingers in his face, "Hey are you okay?" asked Shadow, Sonic turned to Shadow and gave him a tender smile. Shadow seem to feel warn inside with that cute little smile of his, "It seems I never been here before at all" said Sonic, "Maybe it's part of your memory lost, I'll show you around" said Shadow. They walked around the village, the place had libraries, in the middle of the village there was a fountain in the middle of the village, not too far was a pound. It seemed that in everywhere they went was a bakery and some kind of shops of souvenir. The one that mostly grabbed Sonic's attention the most was the "Sea shell city shop" Sonic entered with Shadow Sonic seemed that he was staring at heaven, Sonic seemed as if he was home for some reason. Sonic didn't knew why but he didn't wanted to leave, then he saw it, it was a little small shell it was color a clear purple it seemed to have golden dots and with a blue end. Sonic stared at it for a while, "I remember this" whispered Sonic as he saw the little shell, Shadow's ear twitch, "You do?" asked Shadow. Sonic smiled in a way of saying yes, he never felt so much joy, but why?. Shadow quickly went to the sails man, "Excuse me sir where did you find this shell?" asked Shadow, "That one?, o that is one of our most valuable shell, it was found in Blue Tear beach, it said that this shell is blessed by the Merhogs" said the sails man. Shadow seemed to have found his first clue, "How much for it?" asked Shadow, "Well it is very valuable since it appears once every 50 years, so 800 dollars" said the sails man, Shadow took out a few golden coins, "Will this cover it?" asked Shadow, the sails man looked at the coins with sparkly eyes, "Yes sir" said the sails man as he grabbed the coins in a blink of an eye. Shadow went to Sonic and so they headed back home. Sonic was wondering why was Shadow acting strange, Shadow took off his cape and went to Sonic with a little bag in his hand, Sonic was curious to find out what was inside. Shadow picked it out and grabbed one of Sonic's hands and put it there, Sonic couldn't believe it. It was the shell from the shop he eyes were sparkling "Thank you Shadow it's wonderful" said Sonic as he held the little shell in his chest and gave Shadow a big smile he also had a cute little blush. Shadow smiled back the blue hedgehog. Shadow knew he had to tell Sonic sooner or later, "Sonic I need to tell you something" said Shadow a little nervous, "Yes?" asked Sonic, "Sonic I'm..........I'm a vamphog" said Shadow a little choked up. Sonic didn't looked frighten but confused, "A vamphog?...what's a vamphog?" asked the confused blue hedgehog.
