Shadow was just sitting in his sofa having a bear, suddenly he heard knocking on the door. Shadow got up and opened the door to see Sonic he had eternal tears falling from his eyes, it looked as of he was crying for a long time, his eyes were red from all the crying. Sonic didn't say anything he just hug Shadow crying, "Sonic what happened?" asked Shadow, Sonic was crying too hard to say what had happened, Shadow run his back, "Calm down and tell me what happened?" said Shadow as he closed the door, making Sonic sit on the couch and Shadow went to give him some water, it helped him to calm down. Shadow hold him close, "Now tell me what happened?" asked Shadow, Sonic was still sobbing, "I went home *sob* and and there were fire trucks *sob* and my house was on fire *Crys* I waited and waited, and one of the firemen told me my parents and brothers were dead, they were a" said Sonic as he cried, Shadow hug Sonic, Sonic was crying on Shadow's chest fur. Shadow felt sorrow for Sonic who now was going trough a tuff time, Sonic cried so much he felt asleep in Shadow's arms, Shadow was worried, his angel who was crying tears of pain, could be in depression since he was alone now. Shadow could just wait till Sonic rest his energy and he would probably calm down. After about a hour Sonic woke up, "Uhh?" he was still in Shadow's arms, "There better?" asked Shadow, Sonic just cuddle up to him, "No" said Sonic. Shadow keep him close, "I'm sorry Soniku" said Shadow, as he hug Sonic tight, "I feel so alone. Shadow lifted Sonic's face to stare at those ruby red eyes, "Your not alone Sonic, you have me and you also have your friends" said Shadow, he gave Sonic a tender kiss on the lips, Sonic wrap his arms around Shadow's neck to deep the kiss. Then they both broke the kiss, "Shadow, can I stay here for a while?" asked Sonic, "Yes, you can stay all you want to" said Shadow keeping Sonic close.

   As days pass, Sonic's friends at school were feeling sorrow for Sonic, and tried there best for cheering Sonic up all they could. On the other hand Sonic worked with the police for some details, of who could have been the murderer of his family. Shadow was always there for Sonic, yet Sonic never knew what Shadow was up to wen he went out, Sonic got tired of Shadow not telling him why?, so Sonic sometimes went with Amy at the Chao garden, witch piss Shadow off. One day Shadow went out again to do his buisness that he never told Sonic about. Shadow and his gang were beating up a few teenagers kinda of there age, they were having a big beat down, and then stop the teenagers were spitting blood and had a few broken bones, "That's what you bots get for not bringing our money" grin Shadow and the gang was laughing, they all left those teenage boys on the floor. Shadow and the gang left to there secret place and Shadow realized something, "How long has Scourge been gone?" asked Shadow, "It's been about a week" said Espio, "I'm starting to get worry" said Fiona, "I wonder what is up with him" said Shadow. It's been a long time since Scourge had been gone, the last time they said Scourge was gone was because Fiona dumped him, Shadow was now talking to Mephiles to get his mind of that, "Hey Mephiles how is it going with Silver?" asked Shadow, "It's good, good I just need to keep treating him right" said Mephiles, "That's good to hear" said Shadow, "And how about you and Sonic?" asked Mephiles. Shadow sigh, "It's good but I'm still worry I understand it's hard for Sonic for lossing his parents and his investigating with the police, also Sonic gets mad sometimes because I never tell Sonic where I'm going or what I do" said Shadow, "I see well then you can try to explaining it" said Mephiles, "No way he will just think I'm a jerk and leave me" said Shadow, "Well you decided but it's best to tell him then let him now on his own" said Mephiles warning Shadow. Shadow nod and went home, to find Sonic studying for a examen he had just finished, "Welcome" said Sonic, Shadow knew Sonic was always upset everytime he went out without telling Sonic. Shadow sat beside him, "Come on Sonic don't be mad" said Shadow, Sonic close the book he was studying and looked at Shadow with a "I am mad at you" face, "Tell me Shadow what is so important that you do and never tell me?" asked Sonic, "Sonic please don't start with this again" said Shadow, "No mater then, if you don't want to tell me then" said Sonic mad, "Sonic who cares what I do or go as long as I am coming here back home to you" said Shadow, Sonic calm down and looked at Shadow, "I know but I get worried, your one of the most important things in my life, if I lose you too, I think I would die" said Sonic as he hug Shadow, Shadow hug Sonic and kiss the hedgehog passionatly. Shadow cuddle up to Sonic, "You will never lose me" said Shadow, Sonic smiled "Are you hungry?" asked Shadow, "Yeah maybe" said Sonic, Shadow called dilevery for some pizza. They both sat down at the table talking about Sonic's case, "The police said they found something like some kind of evidence, but won't tell me in about a few days maybe" said Sonic, "Well who ever did it I swear I will rip every part of there body and make sure his alive so he can suffer all the pain you suffer" said Shadow. Sonic actually blush a little as violent as that sound, it seemed kinda romantic to Sonic, "I atleast prefer to see him in bars" said Sonic, "Death is too good for him" said Sonic, Shadow nod, "Sometimes I think your too kind" said Shadow, "Violence isn't always the answer Shadow" said Sonic, Shadow was silent it remind of what he did to those teenage boys. Sonic wonder why Shadow was acting strange, "Shadow is something wrong?" asked Sonic, "Nothing nothing" said Shadow quickly. The pizza made it Shadow paid for it 5 dollars, Sonic sometimes wonder where did Shadow get money but never asked. Sonic and Shadow where eating pizza on the coach, Shadow had his arm around Shadow putting his head in between his chest fur and neck. Sonic was cuddling up to him while they eat the pizza and see a movie, "Shadow I'm sorry for being mad at you this morning" said Sonic, Shadow gave Sonic a peck on the neck, witch made him giggle, "It's okay Soniku" said Shadow. It was time for them to go to bed, Sonic was sleeping with Shadow, they both cuddle to each other. What they didn't knew that someone was watching them, glaring at them both.

    The next morning Sonic woke up, but Shadow wasn't there, Sonic was now mad again for him doing this every time, Sonic just got up and went to the Chao garden. In the Chao garden Sonic played with a few Chao, Speedy went to Sonic and Sonic picked him up, "Hello Speedy, where is Amy?" asked Sonic, "Did someone called?" asked Amy who just happened to appear, "Hello Amy" said Sonic, "Hi Sonic what up?" asked the pink hedgehog, "It's Shadow again" said Sonic, "Looks like you 2 always have something to fight over" said Amy. They both sat near grass and talked for a while "And so I always come here now and then just to try and not get mad at him" said Sonic, "I have to say Sonic you and Shadow seem to be very close friends" said Amy, "Uhhh yeah?" said Sonic, Amy didn't knew Shadow and him were together. Amy was blushing she wanted to tell Sonic how she felt, they both were being watch by someone. Amy got near Sonic, "Sonic can I tell you something?" asked Amy, "Yeah sure what is it Ames?" asked Sonic, Amy got near, "Amy?" asked Sonic as there lips meet. Sonic and Amy were kissing, Sonic quickly got away, "Amy! Wait I don't like you that way" said Sonic, "Uhh what?" asked Amy. Sonic calm down "Sorry Amy I should have told you but I'm in love with Shadow we were dating" explained Sonic, Amy was shocked but she understood, "Oh my I didn't knew, I'm so sorry Sonic" said Amy, "It's okay Amy now you know, but next time warn me" said Sonic with a tender smile. That someone left as he got what he needed.

  Shadow on the other hand was with the gang and Scourge finally came, "Hey guys long time no see" said Scourge, "It's about time" said Espio, "Yeah we almost called the police to search for you" said Rouge. Shadow looked at Mephiles and then at Scourge, "And where were you all this time?" asked Shadow, "What's wrong Shady boy" teased Scourge, Shadow frown as he hated that name. Scourge went to Shadow whispered at his ear "We need to talk for a minute Shadow" said Scourge as he went apart with Shadow following him. They went to a place where they could be alone to talk, "What is it Scourge?" asked Shadow, "Nothing I just wanted to ask, how was Sonic?" said Scourge as he grin, "Why do you ask?" asked Shadow, "The days I have been gone, I heard everything and about your little get together" said Scourge with a grin, Shadow glared at him, "So?" asked Shadow, "We are fine together" said Shadow. Scourge couldn't help but chuckle, "Oh really?" gives Shadow a picture. Shadow looked at it with deep anger and crushed it and left to find Sonic.
